Born in St. Paul on March 26, 1925, Char passed away on March 3, 2015. Her parents and two infant grandchildren preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Vernon Johnson, of New Brighton, sons Mark (Debra) and Scott (Jean), daughter Kara Ruwart (Tom), grandchildren Kari, Erik, James, Brian (Ariela), Kaylene, Thomas, and great granddaughter Kensington.
Celebration of life to be held at St. Philips Lutheran Church, 6180 Highway 65 NE, Fridley, MN on March 14 at 11:00. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m.
Memorials can be made to St. Philips Lutheran Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
