Our loving mother passed away on December 2, 2010 at the age of 82. Preceded in death by her sisters Virginia Ducklow and Sylvia Johnson. Survived by children: Shirley Schmitt, Virginia (Gene) Hafner, and Alan Schmitt; 5 sisters: Ruth Schatz, Naomi Kveen, Juanita Brun, Wanda Kveen, and Velda Schmitt; 6 grand children: Lisa, BobbiJo, Daniel, Cheryl, Melissa and Gary; and 11 great grand children. We will cherish memories of our Mother not only as a loving Mom, artist, seamstress, and home health care worker, but also as a person of great faith, boldness to spread the Gospel, a prayer warrior and as a sweet and gentle person who never had a despairing word about anyone. Her witness of reliance upon God in all things is an inspiration to us all.
We love you Mom, we will miss you dearly.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Monday, December 6 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 835 2nd Avenue NW, New Brighton. Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Interment at Hope Cemetery in Chippewa Falls, WI .
