Steven Wahlstrom

Steven Wayne Wahlstrom was born October 20, 1955 the son of Wallace Gordon and Arleen Deloris (Bakken) Wahlstrom in Pelican Rapids, MN. He would grow up in Ham Lake with his brother Danny and sister Connie. Steven was a graduate of Anoka Senior High School with the class of 1974. He met his future wife Jeanne in 1980 and they would marry in 1982, that same year their first child Jennifer was born. She tragically died in an automobile accident in 1983. Steven and Jeanne would welcome their son Ryan in 1984. He would graduate with an Associatea�(TM)s Degree in Electronic Technology from Northwestern Electronic Institute. In 1990 they would welcome their daughter Anna. Steven worked as an Electronic Service Tech from 1985 until 1999. He fixed various electronic equipment ranging from mail machines, medical equipment and computer hardware. In 1999 at the age of 43, Steven suffered two debilitating strokes, as a result of the strokes it left Steven disabled and unable to return home. Steven was able to return home last Thursday, October 7, 2010 to spend his final hours. Steven enjoyed many hobbies including listening to "His" music, the music of the 70a�(TM)s, watching auto racing, especially his favorite NASCAR and playing virtual golf video games. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Jennifer; his mother Arleen and father Wallace; his brother Daniel "Danny" and a niece Kelda. Steven leaves to remember and celebrate his life, his loving wife of 28 years Jeanne; his children Ryan and Anna; his sister Connie Wahlstrom. Also many other family and friends. Memorial Service 2 pm Wednesday, October 13, 2010 in the Miller Funeral Home Chapel, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley. Visitation from 1:30 until the hour of service. Interment at the Glen Cary Lutheran Cemetery, Ham Lake.
