Tim Adams

November 10, 1966 — October 8, 2014

Timothy Lee Adams went home to heaven on October 8, 2014, at the age of 47 years, 11 months. He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly as a result of long-term, undiagnosed high blood pressure. Tim was born in Minneapolis, Minn., on November 10, 1966, to Herb and Sue Adams. Tim was a preacher's kid and spent his childhood years in Minneapolis, Montevideo, Northfield, Coon Rapids, Andover and his high school years in Ortonville, Minn. Tim especially enjoyed the years his family spent living a traveling life while his dad preached at Kid's Crusades in churches across the country.

Tim loved sports, especially football, which he played in high school. He also wrestled, ran track, and sang in the choir. He attended the University of Minnesota. Tim had several jobs throughout the years, including delivering pizza for Dominos. He worked for CNA Insurance for several years – where he met his wife, Molly – before coming on board in the payroll department at Target Corp. Tim found his true calling when Target moved him into a graphic design position. He spent the last several years as a graphic artist working for Target Corp.

Tim loved to barbecue. He and Molly developed original recipes for rubs, meat, sauces and sides and delighted in serving friends and family for over a decade. They were encouraged and had planned to open a catering business called Red Hanky Barbecue. Tim was a talented amateur photographer who loved to post his favorite pictures on Facebook and Instagram. He enjoyed the excitement of commuting by bike to work in downtown Minneapolis. After discovering (to his surprise) that he was passionate about camping, Tim, Molly and their kids went on many camping adventures to State Parks across Minnesota with their motto, "We survived it together". Tim was Eternity-minded, and end times prophecy was a subject dear to him that he loved to study. Tim was waiting for the trump and shout and never stopped looking up.

Tim has four children – Ashley, Grant, Evangeline and Henry. He was married to his wife, Molly, for 20 years. Tim loved his family and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He will be greatly missed by Molly and his children; his mother, Sue Adams; brothers Todd (Holly) and Ty (Audra); his nieces and nephews; his extended family and his many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Herb, and most recently by his Aunt Wanda Adams.

His funeral service is on Wednesday, October 15, at Living Word Christian Center, 9201 75th Ave N, Brooklyn Park, MN 55428, (763) 315-7000. Visitation at 12:30. Service at 2 pm. Fellowship and refreshments from 4 to 8 pm at Berry Hill Farm, 6510 185th Ave. NW, Nowthen, Minn. Commital service will be on Thursday, October 16, at Hillside Cemetery, 2600 19th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418.
