Aloysius Joseph Jestrab

Aloysius “Al” Jestrab, age 70, of Spring Lake Park, Minnesota, passed away on September 20, 2025. He was born in New Hampton, Iowa, to Cyril and Margaret Jestrab.

Al will be remembered for his generosity, his willingness to help others, and the joy he found in life’s simple pleasures. He was a skilled machinist and enjoyed gardening, fishing, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, and most of all, spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cyril and Margaret Jestrab. He is survived by his wife, Angela; daughters Amanda and Elizabeth; siblings Mary (Dave) Schultz, Ann (Andy) Anderson, Greg (Cindy) Jestrab, Marty (Cindy) Jestrab, and Cathy (David) Haughenbury; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st, at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Little Turkey, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 9:30am, and the funeral service will be at 10:30am. Lunch to be provided after the service.
