Age 82 of New Brighton. Died peacefully at home on August 13 surrounded by his loving family. Longtime employee of Scott-Atwater and Capital Gears. Preceded in death by his parents John & Luella; sisters Marilyn & Norma. Survived by his loving wife of 58 years Lavina; sons Wayne (Sally) & Gordon (Judy); grandchildren Lindsey, Matthew, Jack & Cal; also by loving nieces, nephews, neighbors & friends. Funeral service 11 am Wednesday at Sunrise United Methodist Church, 7687 Long Lake Road, Mounds View. Visitation 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley and one hour prior to the service at church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Deer Park, WI. Memorials to the American Cancer Society or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
