Anna Bowe

Anna Frances Bowe (Schlaeger), a ge 89, of Shoreview, formerly of Columbia Heights, passed away January 13, 2019. Ann was a graduate of the University of MN-Duluth, a classroom teacher in Sandstone and Hinckley, and long-time substitute for Columbia Heights Schools.

Ann is survived by her husband of 66 years, Don; children: Jon (Susan), Tom, Jim (Cher), Mary (Chuck) Doenges; daughter-in-law, Denise; brother, Ed Schlaeger; sister-in-law, Kathy Schlaeger; 9 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by parents, Carl and Helen (Bernecker) Schlaeger; brother, Carl; sister-in-law, Naomi; son, Tim (MN State Trooper); granddaughters, Kya Ann Doenges and Alison Bowe.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 18th at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 835 2nd Ave. NW, New Brighton. Visitation is at church from 9-10:30. Luncheon to follow Mass. Private burial in Pine City.

Memorials preferred to a food shelf, or St. John the Baptist Catholic School.
