Ardith Seeman

Ardith Marie Seeman, nee Megraw, of Blaine, MN passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 in Blaine, MN at the age of 82.

Ardith was born in Stewartville, MN to Ennesley and Margaret Megraw on May 12, 1935.  The family lived on a farm until 1950, when Ardith was 15 years old, at which time they moved to Rochester, MN. She graduated from Rochester High School and was married to Roberton “Bob” Seeman on September 24, 1955 in Rochester, MN. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Ardith worked as an administrative aide for Park Terrace Elementary in Spring Lake Park, MN. She was also an active member of Sunrise United Methodist Church and a member of the Unity Auxiliary volunteer organization at Unity Hospital in Fridley, MN. At their cabin in Aitkin, MN, Ardith enjoyed relaxing with family and friends.

Ardith is preceded in death by her parents, Ennesley and Margaret Megraw, and son-in-law, Daryl Bovy.

Ardith is survived by her husband, Bob, of 62 years; daughter: Brenda Bovy; sons: Steve Seeman (Denise) and Ron Seeman (Jackie); brother: Robert Megraw (Janet); grandchildren: Kristy Nutter, nee Bovy, (husband, Derek, and children Griffin, Wyatt, Teagan), Melissa Strommen, nee Bovy, (husband, Samuel, and children Zoey, Taryn), Miranda Bovy, Jeremy Seeman (Jessie), Lindsay Seeman, Calli Seeman, Ryan Bovy (Tess Arvesen),  Nick Seeman; nephew: Rodrick Megraw (Marie); and niece: Molly Megraw (Stefano Guerra).

Pallbearers will be Kristy Nutter, Melissa Strommen, Miranda Bovy, Jeremy Seeman, Calli Seeman, Lindsay Seeman, Ryan Bovy, and Nick Seeman.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Crest View Senior Community at Blaine and Fairview Hospice for the help, care, and support they provided.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 PM on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley, MN 55432.

The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 5, 2018, at Sunrise United Methodist Church, 7687 Long Lake Rd, Mounds View, MN 55112 with Pastor Andrew Church officiating. There will be an hour of visitation prior to the service and a luncheon will be served following the service.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Sunrise United Methodist Church.
