Barbara Gertrude Walters

Barbara Gertrude Walters, 84, Fridley, MN, passed away on December 2, 2025.  She was born October 5, 1941 to Clifford and Ann (Wolzak) Mistelske in Minneapolis, MN.

Barb attended school at Fridley High School.  She was one of the first students to graduate from Fridley High School.  Barb had a number of jobs after high school.  She ended her career retiring from Pillsbury Corporate Company.

Barbara had three children, Troy, Trent, and Todd.  She made a home for them in Fridley.  Barb met her partner, Randy, in the 90s.  She was working customer service at Holiday Store in Fridley.

Barbara loved going to the lake.  She had property at a lake that she loved spending time at.

Grateful for having shared in Barbara’s life are her partner, Randy Gunderson; sons, Troy (Nikki) Walters, Trent (Tammy) Walters , and Todd (Nicole) Walters; grandchildren, Travis, Nate, Ty, Maddie, Jamie; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Hunter, Bella, and Emma; siblings, Patsy, Jeanette, Dolores, David, and Johnny; and many step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Ann Mistelske; granddaughter, Marissa; and seven siblings.

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Miller Funeral Home in Fridley. Visitation will begin at 10.
