Cynthia Jean Iverson

Cynthia Iverson, age 78, passed away Dec. 17, 2024. Cindy was born Sept. 2, 1946, in Minneapolis to Allan and Janet Pelton. She married Norman Iverson on Feb. 17, 1968, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis — in the first ecumenical wedding in Minnesota in which a Catholic Priest performed the ceremony with a Presbyterian Minister. She will be deeply missed by her husband Norman; children Julia Iverson and Daniel (Amanda) Iverson; and grandchildren, Reese and Asher. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1200 Marquette Avenue, Minneapolis. Complimentary parking is available to guests in the church parking ramp. Enter on 13th Street (Alice Rainville Place) between Marquette Avenue and Nicollet Mall. The garage door sign reads "Westminster and St. David's Center Parking."
