Darleen Ann Esget

We are saddened to announce the passing of Darleen Ann (Torgerson) Esget (94), so we raise a glass and toast right back to you mom !!!

Darleen was a strong, intelligent, hardworking and independent woman who had achieved her RN Nursing degree in Huron, SD. She had numerous experiences in many areas of nursing and mental health, which most likely prepared her for a long 67 year marriage with her husband Keith...Those of you that knew both of them will totally get that comment and I'm sure you are smiling and nodding... She continually enjoyed learning tips and trivia and faithfully read the newspaper from top to bottom making sure to include solving the daily challenging quizzes and puzzles. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith, son Randy, her identical twin sister Doreen, and parents Osceal and Tenny Torgerson. She is survived by daughter Kathy, son-in-law Kelly, daughter-in-law Mona,,, her brother Ordean (Janice), brother Tom (Laurel), brother-in-law Craig Esget, along with five grandkids: Sarah (Shawn), Jack (Sarah), Marcus, Jenna (Kevin), Sam (Emily), as well as 11 amazing great grandchildren: Alyssah, Carter, Nolan, Colton, Alayna, Shayna, Elizabeth, Nate, Isabelle, Dakota and Croix, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a short visitation from 6:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, June 24 at Miller Funeral Home, which is located at 6210 Highway 65 NE in Fridley, MN. 

A final burial will take place next summer 2027 in South Dakota...
