Daryl Dankert was born January 8, 1964 and passed away at a Hospice facility in Robbinsdale, MN on April 25, 2025 due to various health conditions.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Dankert; grandparents, Walter Brudelie, Adeline (Jerome) Hanson, Ann (Chris) Kunkel. He is survived by his mother, Edythe Dankert; brother Todd (Lisa) Dankert; nephews Ryan and Kenneth Dankert; Uncle, Wayne (Jeanne) Brudelie; aunt, Deb Kunkel; stepdaughters, Stephanie Peterson and Cassandra (Matt) Larsen; grandchildren, Austin, Ava, Ashlea, Brayden and Britten as well as many friends and acquaintances.

Following graduation from Brooklyn Center High School he joined the US Navy where his first duty station was in Guam. Returning stateside, he was stationed onboard the USS Prairie in Long Beach, CA until he re-enlisted and was transferred to a Nuclear Submarine base near Bremerton, WA where he spent the remainder of his eight years of service.

Daryl waited for weekends when they could get in the truck and pull the travel trailer to a campground or friends backyard to enjoy time with family and friends. Very often the grandchildren would be invited to go along for the weekend, which he truly enjoyed.

The majority of his career was with Williams AV (Williams Audio Visual) in Eden Prairie where he worked for 23 years as an International Technical Training Manager. While there, he traveled extensively around the world as well as domestically. As a result, he experienced a wide variety of customs and cultures and met people of all walks of life. Due to his failing health, he retired in October, 2024.

Our sincere thank you to family and friends for their support through this journey, to his friends and colleagues at Williams AV for their continued support of Daryl and to his North Memorial Hospice Team (in particular Alana, Ellen and Jodie).
