David Heartt

David Edwin Heartt, age 93, passed away at Brightondale Senior Living on June 25, 2021.

In his earlier years, David lived in Highland Park, IL, and worked for IBM as a punch card operator. Later, he retired with a pension from Lake Shore Country Club as Head Bartender. For 93 years, he enjoyed boating and fishing. He loved trains, and often road on one to work. After retirement from the club, he came back to work part time until he was 91 years young.

David felt the pain with the death of his mother and father, Rose and William Heartt; sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Howard Wadley.

Those that felt the pain of David’s death are his niece and her husband, Joan and Doug Jagunich; and their daughter and son, Natalie Walker and Dan Jagunich; along with their spouses Christoper Walker and Shannon Jagunich; their children, oldest to the youngest: Jordon Jagunich, Elena Walker, along with the twins, Samuel and Gavin Jagunich, the youngest are, Alex Walker and Madison Jagunich.

His friends, who knew him as Governor, and family who knew him through his love of life, which showed through his, kindness, smile, and peppy step, will miss him.

Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28th at Miller Funeral Home with gathering one hour prior.
