David Paul Rondo Jr.

Our beloved David P. Rondo Junior left us too soon on December 6, 2025.  He was just 57 years old.  He graduated from Thomas Edison High School in 1987.  He pursued his passion for cooking through a culinary arts program.  Some of Dave's hobbies included, biking, cooking, roller skating, and dancing.  Some of our fondest memories are the unique and special bond he had with his father.  He enjoyed the countless weekends fishing and he loved the baseball and football games they went to together. A devoted Vikings fan, he never missed a game and he never missed calling his father every Sunday.  Cribbage, poker and casino runs were amongst some of his favorites.

His unwavering love for his mother never went unnoticed.  From bedtime stories to going to the beach, he really enjoyed his time with his mother.   He always sang the lullabies that were sang to him.

In 1992 he moved to Brainerd to care for his grandmother Genevieve.  He met the love of his life and made a family of his own.  It was really important to him to spend time with his children and grandchildren.  They were the joy of his life.  His legacy lives on through his beautiful family and the countless lives he's touched.  His infectious laugh and loving spirit brightened the lives of all who knew him.  Gone from our sight but never from our hearts.

Preceded in death by Loving Mother, Linda Rondo and Grandmother, Genevieve Fagerberg.

David will be deeply missed by his Father, David P. Rondo; Siblings, Lisa (Dennis) Joly, Michael (Sarah) Rondo, Christina (Rodney) Lenton; Children, Damian Lewis, Billi Jo (Jon) Ames, Ruby (Delmar) Hawkins; Grandchildren, Noah-Tyler, Nachi, Denay, Delmar Jr., Ayvree, Faith, Alonzo, Daisa, Damian Jr., Ciya, Chloe.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley.
