Deborah Jean Casserly

Deborah “Debbie” Jean Casserly, of Fridley, Minnesota, passed away on April 28, 2026, in South St. Paul, Minnesota, at the age of 62.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, John Edward Casserly and Rosemary Valerius Casserly, as well as her longtime companion, Richard Oliver Buhl.

She is lovingly survived by her siblings, Colleen Fickel (Dennis), Mary Dorta (Roberto), Gregory Casserly, Patricia Murawski (Roy), Darlene Casserly, and Dianne Seguin (Todd); along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss her.

Debbie graduated from Fridley High School with the Class of 1981. She will be remembered as an incredibly kind and caring person, someone who truly had a heart for others. Her warmth and compassion touched everyone who knew her. A devoted aunt, Debbie cherished her family and created lasting bonds with her nieces and nephews.

She also had a natural gift for humor and a joyful spirit that brought laughter to those around her. Whether through a quick wit or a perfectly timed joke, Debbie had a way of lifting spirits and making even ordinary moments special.

Her kindness, humor, and loving presence will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.

Memorial service to be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Church of St. William in Fridley.
