Delores Minnie Gardas was born to Betty Sullivan and Anton Marshall on July 2nd, 1930. She was united in marriage to Tony Gardas on May 5th, 1948 and they raised their four boys in New Brighton, MN. Delores worked for Honeywell, retiring after 30 years. She had a passion for her movies and loved sharing them with friends and family. She also loved baseball, the Minnesota Twins, going to ball games, watching the games on TV, or listening to games in her car. It always made her happy when she would get visits from her grandchildren. Mud cake and freezes were always a treat at her house, and you would never leave hungry or empty handed. She will always be loved and deeply missed. Delores is preceded in death by her husband, Tony on June 17th, 1984; son, Tom Gardas on September 5th 2010; and infant granddaughter, Shannel Gardas on August 23rd, 1973. She is survived by her children, Anthony Gardas, Bob (Kathy) Gardas and Wayne (Michelle) Gardas; daughter in law, Michele Gardas; grandchildren, Dana (Derek) Johnson, Jamie (Brian) Wasche, Tommy (Kristin) Gardas, Desiree (Nathan) Campbell, Kassie (Brian) Brondyke, Jennifer (Jason) Volk, Kelly (Jake) VanLanschoot and Robert Gardas; great grandchildren, Brandon Talley, Dakotah Talley, Brianna Wasche, Dylan Wasche, Cody Gardas, Lucas Dix, Sam Dix, Caleb Dix, Shannel Radniecki, Tony Wallace, Mason Brondyke, Logan Brondyke, Jordan Volk, Jaylee Volk and Jensyn Volk.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 31st at 12PM with visitation one hour prior at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Highway 65 NE Fridley. Interment at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in New Brighton.
