Donald Richard Odland

Donald Richard Odland, 93, of Fridley, MN.

Don was born in 1932 in Belgrade, MN. He lived there until being drafted into the Army and served in Korea. After returning home, he worked for NW Bell Telephone Company until retirement. 

Don spent many years coaching youth sports. He was an active member of the VFW and American Legion. Don had many interests. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, playing cards, and attending auctions with his wife. Don loved to dance and would want to be remembered as a great dancer. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family. 

Don was preceded in death by his first wife, Dona Mae; second wife, Doris; infant son, Roger; sister, Elaine Forcier. He will be deeply missed by his sons, Craig (Shelly), Gary (Marie), Joel (Sharon); grandchildren, Kandayce (Jon), Andrea (Jake), Adara (Luke), Ashton, Sam; three great-grandchildren.

Service for Don will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley. Visitation at 10am, service at 11am. Private interment at Hillside Cemetery, Minneapolis.
