Donna Kay Higgins (55) died of cancer March 14, 2024. Preceded in death by brother Aaron. Donna and her amazing smile will be missed by mom Pat Higgins (Rod), dad Bob Higgins, sons Craig “CJ” (Merary) and Zach Pearson, sister Cheryl Kozicky, brother Jim Higgins, grandchildren Elyjah, Kam and Zayden, family, friends and Angel.

Donna was a mother, a grandmother, a daughter, a sister, a best friend. For many of us, she was a light in our darkest hour, our saving grace, our last hope.

Donna had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and meaningful way. She created community wherever she went.

She loved her children and grandchildren with her whole heart, with her whole soul. She would carry the world on her shoulders for them, over and over.

She was the glue that held her family together, that held a lot of us together. She centered her life around people. Her generosity and compassion to those in need was inspiring. She was humble, brave, and kind.

So many of us met each other, through Donna, surrounded by food and music - let us celebrate in the same way. Bring a dish to share, a song for the playlist, and plenty of stories.
