Dora Brockman

Dora Aimee Benjaminson Brockman was born October 11, 1935 in Fosston, Minnesota.  The daughter of Sander and Tilla Tverberg.  She has joined the room God has prepared on the morning of July 14, 2021 at Benedictine Living Community in New Brighton, Minnesota at the age of 85.
Dora grew up on the family farm in Fosston, later moving to Proctor, Mn.  On July 7 1956 Dora married Sheldon Benjaminson living in Michigan and Ohio, they settled in Fridley, MN raising three boys.  They shared 27 years of marriage before Sheldon’s passing on June 14, 1983.
Dora enjoyed volunteering and charitable work including at Unity hospital for many years.  Dora was a long-time member of St. Philips Lutheran Church and later joined Redeemer Lutheran Church. Dora married Theodore Brockman July 22 1988 and they spent many years traveling and spending winters in Texas and Arizona.  Dora enjoyed 19 years of marriage before Ted’s passing on September 1, 2007.  Among volunteering she also enjoyed crafts, attending grandchildren’s activities and Bible studies.
Dora is survived by; Dale (Diana) Benjaminson of Forest Lake, MN, Gary (Linda) Benjaminson of Spring Lake Park, MN, Brian (Michele) Benjaminson of Rogers, MN, Sue (Brian) Brockman Evenson of Northfield, MN, Peter (Kay) Brockman of Eagan, MN, Tim (LeeAnn) Brockman of Forest Lake, MN;  16 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
Dora was also preceded in death by her parents Sander and Tilla, Brothers; Selvin, Clifford, Irvin “Bud”, Ted, Walter, Ernie, Glenn, sister Barbara.
