Dorothy Aldrich

ALDRICH, DOROTHY L. (ANDERSON)

recently of Fridley and Coon Rapids slipped quietly into the arms of the Lord on February 10, 2021 two days after her 93rd birthday after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years Robert; children Jo Aldrich, Bob Aldrich, Terry Aldrich and David (Heidi) Aldrich; 10 grand children and 6 great grand children.

Dorothy was born in Wayne County, MI, grew up in Saginaw, MN, and graduated from Proctor High School in 1945. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed her family and travel. After a 19 year career with Target, she became came an avid knitter and craft-er. Her home and those of her family are filled with beautiful hand-made items, and she enjoyed many hours with her 'knitting-lady' friends attending various classes and seminars. She will be greatly missed.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Anyone wishing to honor her life can make a donation to the SPCA or to the Fridley St. Phillip's Lutheran Church Food Shelf in her name.
