Duane Farness

Duane Albert Farness, age 79 from Minneapolis, MN passed away on August 1st at home after nearly two years on hospice. Preceded in death by parents Melvin Farness and Dorothy Langner; survived by loving wife Debbie, children Heith (Lisa), Jennifer (Ross), and Nick (Dee); grandchildren Josh, Jeff, Joe, Kenzie, Charlie, Jack, Garrett, Sawyer, and Addison; great grandchild Landon; sisters Darlene (Clyde) and Brenda (Patrick), relatives and friends.

Duane was a professional truck driver for 48 years. He owned his own semi for the last 27 years of his career and the open road was his oasis. He enjoyed watching all sports and was often heard yelling at the television, questioning the Viking's coaches on each play. Duane loved to vacation whether it was boating and fishing, or taking cruises. His favorite destination was Hawaii. His Honey Bunny and family brought him the greatest joy.
