Duane V. Pietrzak passed away on July 27, 2026 at 87 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Stella Pietrzak; brothers-in-law, Eugene Maznio and Edward Mrotek; nephew, Kevin Maznio. Duane will be missed by his daughter, Sheryl (Wayne) Young; granddaughter, Amanda (Peter Marshman) Jacobs; great-grandsons, Aiden and Emmett; sisters, Diana Mrotek and Joan Maznio; nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Duane worked for Sears Roebuck for 35 years and Clark Forklift for 12 years. He was known to be a great handyman.
Visitation at 10am, Mass of Christian Burial at 11am on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Church of St. William, 6120 5th St NE, Fridley. Burial at Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made in Duane's name to Alzheimer's Association .
