Enola (Washington) Jackmon, age 79 of Maplewood, passed away on April 29, 2021. Enola Dollie Frances Washington was the first born to Rev. John & Gertrude Washington on June 6th, 1941 in Jacksonville, Il, and was named after all of her living grandmothers. There were eight children born during that marriage: Wallace Jackmon Jr, Uilani Enola, Lyndon Baines, Shawn Christopher, DeVonna G., Anthony Oliver, Csonya Rochelle and Yevonne Lavelle. She drove the transit in Sioux Falls, SD where she was a union steward and trained drivers for 6 years. She then moved to Minneapolis where she drove with Metro Transit for 13 years, retired, and went back to Sioux Falls where she drove for one more year. At the persistence of her friends at her senior complex, she began attending Redeemer Baptist Church.
