Eugene Schaefer

Schaefer, Eugene (Gene) L., age 88 formerly of Fridley.  Died Nov. 14th after a long struggle with Alzheimers.  Preceded in death by loving wife of 58 years, JoAnn and brother, David. Survived by daughter, Diane (Matt) Clysdale; son, Steven (Betty) Schaefer; eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Amy, Emily, Marie, Charles, Mark, Erik & Alex; also special nieces, Mary (David) Vanston, Julie (Tim) Salak and Lisa Schaefer.  Mass of Christian Burial Wed. 10 AM with a visitation one hour prior at the Church of St. William, 6210 5th St. NE., Fridley.  Interment Ft. Snelling.  Memorials preferred to Knights of Columbus #4381 or the Church of St. William.
