Leaon, Frances Agnes age 92 of Fridley. Frances went home to be with the LORD on June 7th, 2024. She was born in Northeast Minneapolis on September 16, 1931 to Michael and Caroline Gromek who immigrated here from Poland. In 1955 she met her husband, James Arthur Leaon, then later married in 1956 raising a family of 5 children in a new subdivision in Fridley. She was active in St. Williams Parish in the Rosary Guild and taught CCD for many years. She is retired from Northwestern Bell and also a Dayton's retiree; where she shopped extensively for her children an grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her beloved Husband James and son Gregory. She is survived by her daughters: Kathy Leaon, Barbara Carnegie (Marty), Michele Scott (Paul), Nancy Plack (Mike) and Daughter-in-law Cathey, eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Visitation Tuesday, June 11th from 5-7 PM at Miller Funeral Home 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 11 AM with visitation one hour prior all at the Church of St. William, 6120 5th St. NE, Fridley. Interment Thursday 12:45 PM at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 - 34th Avenue S., Mpls., MN.
