Frank Ronald Zlimen

Frank Ronald Zlimen passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026 at Suite Living Memory Care in Spring Lake Park, MN.  He will be sorely missed by those he left behind including his children, Jennifer and Michael.

Frank grew up in Eveleth, Minnesota, graduated from Eveleth High School and St. Cloud State, and moved to Spring Lake Park in 1969.  As Mr. Z, he positively impacted many lives over several decades as a teacher, coach, and sports announcer in the Spring Lake Park School District.  He was regularly recognized by former students and parents in the community.  In his free time, Frank could be found in his backyard vegetable garden, manning the grill, and spoiling the neighbors' dogs with treats.  He was an avid Minnesota sports fan, a connoisseur of classic country music, an exceptional pool player, and supremely gifted at pull tabs. 

An informal gathering for friends and relatives will be held at Miller Funeral Home in Fridley, MN on Thursday, September 10 at 11 AM.
