Genevieve Margaret Nathe

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; siblings, Wilfred Athmann, Arnold Athmann, Rita Ritter. She will be deeply missed by her children, Peggy Schmitz, Wally (Sandy) Nathe, Terry Nathe; grandchildren, Lenny (Rebecca) Klevan Schmitz, Susan (Pat) Chouinard, Joseph (Trista) Nathe, Nathan (Paula) Criego; great-grandchildren, Abigale, Isabelle, Stephanie, Katie, Zoe, Zaxton, Zaylee, Hayes; step great-grandchildren, Natalie and Alaina; many other family members who called her mom, grandma, great-grandma.

Jean was a longtime active member of St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church. She enjoyed going to the lake in Hayward, WI and working in her garden. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church, 171 Elm St., Lino Lakes. Visitation one hour prior to mass. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
