George Arnold III

George M. Arnold III, age 86 of Fridley. Passed away March 8, 2018. Born April 2, 1931 in Eden Valley, MN, the youngest of 13 children. Preceded in death by wife, Lillian; parents, George & Mary Arnold; 5 brothers and 5 sisters. George was born a farmer. He served his country in the Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He was a life member of both the American Legion and VFW. He worked for Honeywell for 40 years before retiring in 1990. His granddaughters were his pride and joy, the lights of his life. He loved his family beyond measure. He is survived by son, Tim (Sandy) Arnold; daughter, Shirley (Charlie) Hawkins; granddaughters, Caitlin and Heather; sisters, Adeline DeMorett and Dorothy Tintes.
