Karels, Gerald J. age 72 of Blaine. Preceded in death by parents, Lawrence and Leocadia Karels; brother, Vernon Karels; sisters, Joanne Brague and Virginia McCauley. Survived by brothers, Donald Karels, Leland (Ruby) Karels, Wilfred (Suzanne) Karels, George Karels, and Terrance Karels; sisters, Muriel (Richard) Loomis, Kathy (Al) Copeland, Mary Karels, Nathalie (Tom) Weibel and Julie (Larry) Burroughs; many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, November 28th, 2017 - 11 AM with visitation one hour prior at the Church of St. Timothy, 707 - 89th Ave. NE, Blaine. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
