Gwen Hamilton

Gwendolyn “Gwen” J. Hamilton, age 91 of Mora and Lexington, MN, passed away on Oct 15, 2021. Gwen was born on Aug 8, 1930 in Minneapolis, MN. She was the past State and 10th District President of the Minnesota American Legion Auxiliary. She worked for Lifetouch (National School Studio) for 30 years. She loved spending time with her family, Christmas, and watching baseball. Preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Evelyn (Heath) Hulke; daughter, Pamela Jeanne Hamilton St Clair; sister, Madolyn (Arvid) Mann; and brother, DeWayne (Barbara) Hulke. Survived by her husband of 71 years, Thomas Hamilton Sr.; children, Madolyn “Tootie” (Gene Stierns) Amundson, and Thomas (Ann Schmidt) Hamilton Jr; son in law, Dan St Clair; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; other loving relatives; and her American Legion family. Funeral will be held at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, 8211 Red Oak Drive, Mounds View, on Tues, Oct 26 at 2PM with visitation one hour prior.
