Harriet Lundgren, age 94 of Blaine, went to be with the Lord on April 24th, 2020. She was a strong and independent woman. Living on her own until last May when she moved into Edgewood assisted living. She loved seeing her family and looked forward to the family “laughfest” weekends, where kids and grandkids would get together and play games into the early hours.
She was born May 9th, 1925 in Deerwood, MN. She grew up with two brothers and two sisters. She graduated from Crosby-Ironton in 1943 then after moving to the cities for work, she met Arne Lundgren, her true love, when she was 21 and married him on October 8, 1949 celebrating 52 years together. They raised three children, Richard, Kathleen Weiand and Theresa (Kirby) Van Note. She was a grandmother to 5, Kristine (Steve) Moreland, Cory Van Note, Melissa Lundgren, Chelsea Van Note and Matthew Lundgren, and a great grandmother to 4, Lillian and Jade Van Note, Drew and Tyler Moreland. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and her husband. Survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister and many nieces, nephews and friends.Due to Covid-19, private family services are being held. Eternal resting place is at Morningside Memorial Gardens in Coon Rapids.
