James Fowler

Fowler, James E.

Age 85, of Columbia Heights, passed away peacefully on Oct. 7th, 2020, surrounded by family, one day shy of his 65th wedding anniversary.

He was born in Minneapolis on March 4th, 1935, to William and Margaret Fowler. He is survived by his wife Dolores, daughter Linda Fowler-Pettigrew, son Dr. Marc Fowler and wife Carrie, grandchildren Megan, Trevor, Austin, Nathan, and Emma, sister Barbara Harris, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by brothers Richard, William, and Ronald.

Jim was a longtime resident of Columbia Heights and will be missed by his many friends, neighbors, and his Wednesday lunch group.  Due to the coronavirus there will be no service at this time. When it is safe to do so, a gathering will be held.  We will look forward to hearing your stories and shared memories at that time.
