Nelson, James P.

Age 95 of Fridley. Passed away peacefully on May 2 with his family by his side.  Survived by his wife of 70 years, Lorraine; children, Kenneth, Angela, Elizabeth (Dennis) Larson, Janet (Gary) Sordahl, Joann Jabs; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson. Preceded in death by grandson, Daniel; Parents; sister and brother in law; brother and sister in law. James was employed at FMC for 34 and a half years. He enjoyed woodworking, feeding the birds and being outdoors. Memorials are preferred to the Heart Association.  Funeral Service will be on Friday May 7 at 11:00 at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley 55432 with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be on Tuesday, May 18 at 10:45 AM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
