James "Jim" Woods

James McIntyre Woods, age 92 of New Brighton, went to be with his Lord on February 17, 2020. He was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania on June 24, 1927. Preceded in death by his parents, John Woods, Sr. and May Ethel Woods; brother, John Woods Jr.; and sister, Helen Jane Woods. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Tish Woods; daughter, Tannie Woods Eshenaur (Walter); sons, James F. Woods (Jody), and John C. Woods; grandchildren, Katie, Peter (Julie), Hannah, Drew (Shannon), Elsa (Tom) Sarah, Ben, Julie, Teagan, Matthew, Skylar; and three great grandchildren, Ethan, Micah and Abigail Lynn; and sister, Barbara Woods Craig. James was Director of Physical Plant at Bethel University for 25 years and previously employed by Westinghouse Nuclear Power Division. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 10 AM followed by a service at 11 AM at Salem Covenant Church, 2655 5th St. NW, New Brighton.
