Janet Teresa Schuldt

2/25/1936 - 11/17/2022

Janet T. Schuldt (nee Peters), age 86, of Mounds View, MN passed away peacefully Thursday, November 17, 2022 with her family by her side.  She was a humble woman of God and faithful prayer warrior.  Her hope was in God's grace through her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was devoted to her family and was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Janet is survived by daughters, Julie (Mike) Bateman, Nancy (Paul) Titus, Carole (Brent) Peterson, Debra (Jon) Brandes; grandchildren, Justin Titus, Abigail (Torai) Mirzai, Jesse Titus, Megan (Jon) Zeldenrust, Emily Titus, Hannah (Jake) Snyder, Grace (Oskar) Velazquez, Alec (Rachel) Bateman, Joseph Peterson, Jessica Peterson, Ellie Brandes, Luke Brandes, and Jack Brandes; great-grandchildren, Theodore, Micah, and Simon Zeldenrust and Annella and Peter Snyder; many loving nieces and nephews; family and friends.  Preceded in death by husband, Wallace C. Schuldt; parents, Clifford and Teresa (Zelenak) Peters; siblings, Lawrence Peters, Karen (Peters) Brogan, and Dennis Peters.

Janet was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN.  She graduated from St. Anthony Catholic High School as Salutatorian. She attended St. Catherine's University before working as a Secretary for Frigidaire.  After marrying Wally in 1959, she was a homemaker and mother until she began her career of 32 years as a loyal Executive Assistant with the Spring Lake Park, Blaine, Mounds View Fire Department. Upon her retirement from the Fire Department, she, along with Wally, spent time traveling with family and friends, loving and spoiling her daughters, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and serving God and her community in various ways.  

During her 63 years living in Mounds View, she was a faithful member of Messiah Lutheran Church where she worshipped and served the Lord in various capacities. She sweetly and faithfully loved all who crossed her path with the love of her Heavenly Father.  She will be greatly missed.

The family thanks The Willows of Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove for the wonderful care they gave to Janet in the last month of her life on earth.
