Beseke, (nee Bucholtz) Janice Dale age 81 of Blaine.
Born September 17, 1943 in Red Wing, MN. She passed away on May 17, 2025 after residing at White Pine Memory Care in Blaine, MN for over 7 years. She was preceded in death by parents John Jacob & Suzette Eleanor Bucholtz, sister Sandra Sue Bucholtz & brother Robert Andrew Bucholtz. Survived by brother Richard Lance Bucholtz (Marlene) step-son Ricky Wendel, step-daughter Jill Griffiths, her three sons Nick, Jake & Zach and Nick's daughter Georgia'. Since both of Janice’ parents were High School teachers, her family lived in a variety of small Minnesota towns. These included Zumbrota, Kasson, Eyota, Rockford, Wabasso, Morton, Bricelyn & Jordan where she graduated in 1961. Janice briefly attended the University of Minnesota & was later employed at Electric Machinery in North Minneapolis where she met & subsequently married Kermit Beseke in 1968. In 1972 Janice and Kermit moved to Schaumburg, IL where they both were employed by Motorola.& Janice became a cartographer, A job she enjoyed immensly. The marriage of Janice & Kermit ended in divorce in 1985.
Janice's passion was the study of Egyptian culture. She purchased & proudly displayed many pictures, maps & other objects that depicted historical events in Egypt. She had & loved a number of cats.
Janice was an excellent singer & she utilized that talent both in High School & her subsequent years in Illinois where her favorite pastime was dining with her friends & frequenting establishments where singing was encouraged.
