Janice Kuznar

Janice (Blanski) Kuznar, age 54 of Burnsville, passed away unexpectedly on December 8, 2021.

Janice is preceded in death by her father Jerry Blanski, her aunt Pat and uncle Bob Wagner, and her godmother June Blanski.

Janice is survived by her children, Justin and Marissa. She is also survived by her mother Gerri Blanski, and her sisters Susan Kaiser, Maria (Kent) Erlandson, Deanna (Paul) Henrich, godfather Gene Blanski, nieces Jaynie and Anna, nephews Joe and Sam, and first cousins Paul, Judy, Linda, Sharon, Chuck, Tom, Tim, Bill and Cathye.

She graduated from Irondale High School, and from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Nursing. Jan achieved her career goals to work with cancer patients, and spent a vast majority of her career in oncology. She used that experience to care for her dad, who passed away in late 2020.

Janice - or Jan - as she wanted her sisters to call her, had much empathy for the world and was knowledgeable on world events. She was intent on learning and staying abreast of medical news and developments, frequently texting or emailing important information. She was always up to date on current music, and had her favorite Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande songs queued up on her Spotify account.

Diet Coke was always her favorite, never a fan of coffee or tea. She created food in her kitchen that, by the time she was finished, was a new masterpiece in itself. She was always giving of her time and medical knowledge. But most importantly, she was extremely proud of Justin and Marissa and the amazing young adults they have become.

A private service will be held on December 20, 2021, with burial to follow.
