Jeffrey "Jeff" Ayer

Jeffrey “Jeff” M. Ayer age 43, of Fridley, formerly Appleton, WI passed away on February. 20, 2018 after a 10 year battle with ulcerative colitis. Preceded in death by grandparents, Melvin & Helen Ayer; grandfather, James Firnstahl, former mother & father in law, Joanna Miller & Kirmit Ford. Jeff had a Master of Education degree and taught in the Turtle Lake, WI, New Richmond, WI and the Minneapolis School Districts. He enjoyed fishing, reading and writing poetry. Jeff will be forever in our hearts. Survived by daughter, Autumn Ayer; former wife & friend, Arlene Ayer; parents, Warren & Debby Ayer; sister, Annette (Jared) Barker; nieces, Addisyn, Alayna, Ainsley Barker; nephew, Maddax Barker; grandmother, Margaret Firnstahl; many aunts, uncle, relatives and friends. If so desired memorials preferred for Autumn’s college fund.
