Age 95 of Fridley and 50 Lakes MN. Survived by loving wife of 70 years, Virginia “Ginny”; children, Jane (Scott)Weiss, Marge (Jim) Richardson, Jim (Kay) Steinmetz; grandchildren, Sarah (Shaun) LaBarre, John (Sue) Weiss, Peter (Becca) Weiss, Tom (Becca) Richardson, Annie (A.J) Smyth, Brad Steinmetz, and John Steinmetz; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Peg Gooley. Preceded in death by son, David; parents; 3 brothers; 1 sister. Memorials preferred to National Loon Center Foundation https://www.nationallooncenter.org/national-loon-center-foundation/ . Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday June 30, 2022, at 3:00 PM with a visitation starting at 2:00 PM at Fridley United Methodist Church, 680 Mississippi St NE, Fridley, MN 55432. Interment at Hillside Cemetery at a later date.
