John Williams, 49, of Blaine, MN went to be with Jesus, his God and Savior due to COVID-19 on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN.
John Dewey Williams, son of Dennis Williams and Alice Christianson, was born March 23, 1972, in Clinton, NC. John’s father passed away in 1974 and John’s family then moved to Minnesota and lived in a few different cities including Bloomington where John graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School.
John was very proud of his Associates Degree in Electronics and his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a special focus on Electronic Engineering. John loved working on electronics and had several jobs in the field including a position where he worked on electronic components for prosthetics.
Along with tinkering with electronics John had many hobbies including: travel, knives, flashlights, survival gear, woodworking, cooking, photography, writing Amazon Reviews, sandstone carving, laser engraving and 3D printing. He was a Jack-of-all-trades, a true craftsman and survival gear proficianado, who made amazing and beautiful works of art as well as various practical items for everyday life. He worked hard at whatever he set his mind to and that showed in the excellence of the things he made.
John had many hobbies that he loved but what he loved most in this world was his family. John’s excellence was displayed most brightly in the way he protected and provided and cared for his family. He was patient, kind, humble, extremely generous, always ready to help and fix, and give whatever he could. He was a person who could strike up a conversation with anyone and an excellent listener. He put his family first and sacrificed so much for each one of them, especially his granddaughter Aurora, who has been loved and spoiled so much by her beloved Papi!
John is survived by his beloved wife Rebecca, his three sons Damian, Nathan (Shannessy) and Dustin (Rebekah), his mother Alice and his sisters Janet (Carlos) and Patti (Jason), his brother Brian, and his granddaughter Aurora... and so many more friends and family!!!
