Joshua Lee Bergan

Joshua “Josh” Bergan, age 32, passed away at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

Josh was born to Larry Bergan and Elizabeth Widga and graduated from Montevideo High School.

Josh loved Burger King, video games, music, wrestling, and spending time with friends and family. He especially enjoyed playing with his nieces and nephews and was a devoted and loving uncle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Liz Bergan, as well as his aunts and uncles.

Josh is survived by his sisters, Jennifer Widga-Meurer and Jeannie Delaney; his brothers, Chad Bergan, Matthew Widga, and Nicholas Bergan; his nieces, Lani Larsen, Kayla Kittleson, Oaklea Widga, and Elizabeth Bergan; and his nephews, Christopher Bergan and Aydon Braun.

Josh will be remembered for his unapologetic kindness, his contagious laugh, and his pure love for everyone.
