Justin J Bownik

Justin Bownik, 53, of Burnsville, passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2026. He was born on March 9, 1972, to Kathy Bednar and Henry Bownik. He grew up in Isanti on Lake Francis. As a child, Justin enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling and the occasional motorcycle ride. As an adult he enjoyed the discovery channel, agate hunting, kickball, softball and was full of unusual facts. Justin worked in housing construction and maintenance. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Doris and Frank Vineyard and his father, Henry Bownik. A wonderful son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Justin will be deeply missed. Justin is survived by his mother, Kathy Bednar, sister, Julie Winkels (Dave) as well as many family members and friends.
