Laurie Broughton

Laurie (Elaine) Broughton of Coon Rapids Minnesota passed away on October 16th at the age of 75. She was born on March 1st, 1947 in Temple, Texas.

"Live and Let Live." "Do no harm but take no shit." could have been her mottos. She believed in letting people find their own path. She was the best of us. A great humanitarian, a business owner, author, editor, gardener, and artisan. A loving mother, sister, and best friend to name only a few of the great many things that composed her life.

In passing she goes to meet her Mother Marion and her Brother's Bud and Patrick.

She is mourned by her daughter, Lisa Broughton, her nephew, Howard (Bear) Dermody, her brother, Logan Strange and his wife Chris, her brother, Howard Dermody, many loving nieces and nephews and countless loving friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Miller Funeral Home 6210 Highway 65 NE Fridley on November 13th at 1pm.
