Lila Elaine Ryti

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lila Elaine Ryti, age 94, on October 11, 2022. She went home to be with Jesus and was welcomed by those who preceded her in death: husband, Marvin; son, Byron; parents, John Alexander and Annie Mary (Autio) Tapio; twelve siblings.

Deeply missed by daughter, Marikay (Jerry) Ebert; ADK sisters; many beloved relatives and dear friends.

Lila taught in Cloquet, MN for 3 years; Sebeka, MN 3 years and the Mounds View School District for 24 years. She was an active member of Alpha Delta Kappa and held many local and state offices. Lila enjoyed singing and remained active in the Gospel Singers at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church. She lived her faith joyfully.

Visitation 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18th at Miller Funeral Home with Sharing Time at 6:00 p.m.

Visitation at 10:00 a.m. and Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19th at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church.

Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 20th at Cokato Finnish Apostolic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Abiding Savior Lutheran Church.
