Lois was born in St Paul MN August 25, 1937. She grew up in Little Canada MN and raised by father, Roman Kush and her mother Marcella. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jerome, son Timothy, brother Steve and her half-sister Donna.  
 
She married Jerry on June 1st, 1957, and shortly after that moved to Florida and then to California. They moved back to Minnesota and lived in Fridley for many years and then moved to New Brighton. They had their first child Timothy, who passed away as an infant to SIDS. They were wonderful foster parents to many children and adopted Charles through this system.  Shortly after adopting Charles, Thomas was born and then Greg. Then a few years later Pamela was born. 
 
Lois worked for Queens Way To Fashion for many years and grew quite the successful business. After retiring from that, she then worked in the bridal business selling wedding dresses with Dayton's Bridal.  She is survived by her children Charles, Thomas (Lori), Gregory and Pamela (Shawn), her grandchildren Tina, Amberly, Mitchell, Andrew, Alec, Samantha and her great grandchildren Tyler and Brynnly. 
 
Lois loved to cook and experiment with new recipes she found in her cooking magazines. She loved to throw great parties. She also was very lucky at gambling and playing poker for many years. Lois was loved by family and friends and will be remembered by many people she
has touched throughout her life. 
 
A private service will be held on Friday, July 21st at Miller Funeral Home. All are welcome to join the celebration of life on Friday July 21, at Tom and Lori’s home (1922 Rice Creek Road, New Brighton) starting at 4:30. Please feel free to bring a side dish to share. Inurnment will be at Fort Snelling Cemetery at a later date.
