Lyle Linnell

Lyle “Doug” Linnell, 93, formerly of Fridley, MN, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, February 11, 2022.  He was born in Franconia, MN to Paul and Emily “Vera” Linnell on December 4th, 1928.  Doug graduated high school from Taylors Falls School.  He served in the U.S. Army at various bases in the United States.  Doug worked for Bros Company, Caterpillar and American Hoist and Derrick among other places retiring in 1994.  He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Evelyn Lantz and Charles Linnell; and children Jeffrey Linnell and Jill Linnell.  Lyle is survived by his wife of 72 years Mary J. Linnell, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory, 6210 Highway 65 NE, Fridley, MN 55432 on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior to memorial service.  Service will be livestreamed.

Interment on a later date at Franconia Cemetery in Shafer, MN
