Smith, Marjorie M. (nee Grams) age 87, of New Brighton. Born on the first day of Summer, June 21, 1922 and passed away on the first day of Spring, March 20, 2010 surrounded by her family. Preceded in death by beloved husband, Harold; parents, Minnie and Henry; brothers, Howard and Donald; sisters, Dorothy Heath and Marian Nemeth. Survived by daughters, Joan (Jerome) Carlson, Judith (Mario) Romani; son, Bruce; grandchildren, John (Bonnie) Romani, Jodi (Tom) Elder, Ann (Wes) Felteau and Christopher (Anna) Carlson; great-granddaughters, Ally and Katy Elder, Bethany, Kimary, Christina and Maya Carlson; brothers, Kenneth (Lou) and Merrill (Helen Mae); sisters, Helen (Leonard) Benson, Harriet Kish, Joyce (Stuart) Immer; many other family members and friends. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the wonderful care and kindness given to Mom in her final months at Benedictine Health Center at Innsbruck and with all of the Fairview Hospice Caregivers. Funeral service Friday, March 26, 11:00 AM at Messiah Lutheran Church, 2848 County Rd. H2, Mounds View. Visitation 5-8 PM Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley and also 1 hour prior to service at the church. Interment Orrock Cemetery, Orrock Township, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Fairview Hospice or Benedictine Health Center.
