Mark Nord

Nord, Mark, age 72, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, March 28th, 2021 surrounded by loved ones, after succumbing to cancer. Born in Minneapolis, Mark moved to Columbia Heights with his wife Lillian, where they raised their sons, David and Paul. Mark was a talented concrete contractor who founded Nord Concrete. There, he worked with his son, David prior to retiring in 2019. Preceded in death by his parents, Alice and Arne (Lois); and brother, William. Survived by wife, Lillian; sons, David (Megan) and Paul; sister, Janet (Diane); brothers, Scott (Darcy) and Ron; and two grandsons, Evan and Lucas. He will be dearly missed. Visitation and service will be held at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Highway 65 NE, Fridley. Visitation on Fri, Apr 9th from 4-7PM as well as one hour prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Sat, Apr 10 at 1PM.
