Marlis "Marcie" Arlene Johnson, Fridley, 86 passed away peacefully January 11, 2026.

Marcie was born and raised in Isle, MN. After graduating high school, she moved to Minneapolis where she worked for the phone company. She met Bob on January 10, 1959 and they were married July 18 that same year. They eventually settled in Coon Rapids, then later in Fridley and New Brighton. They enjoyed family time, travel, dining, attending the theater, and spending time at the cabin.

She is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Johnson, their children Scott (Robyn Woytcke) Johnson, Kris (Lynn) Johnson, Julianne (Mike) Ohren; grandchildren Bailee (Cam) Kashef, Riley (Jessica) Johnson, Cassandra (Jarren) Lutes, Savannah Johnson, Maxwell Johnson, Tianna (Adam) Kuehn and Nicholas (Tate Carlson) Ohren. She is also survived by great grandchildren Kallen, Izzy, Bodie and Quinn, as well as siblings Janet (Dave) Tousignant, LeRoy (Linda) Templin, Larry (Gloria) Templin, Sheryl (Kenny) Oestreich and sister-in-law Lee Templin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Esther Templin, and her brother Ronald "Ron" Templin.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at St. Philip’s Lutheran Church. Visitation begins at 10:00 am with a luncheon to follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to Gillette Children’s Hospital or Sharing and Caring Hands of Minneapolis.
