Maxine Smedshammer
June 26, 1944 — January 21, 2026
Maxine Smedshammer passed away on Jan. 21, 2026 at age 81. She will be deeply missed by her sons, Brett (Jodi) and Kyle (Carrie) Ohnstad; sister, Elaine (Jim) Hilscher.
Max was a longtime Ramsey Co. employee and board member of CPY. She was a dedicated and active member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church.
Visitation at 10am followed by service at 11am on Sat., Feb. 7, 2026 at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, 8211 Red Oak Dr., Mounds View. Private interment in LaMoure, North Dakota. Memorials preferred to the family.
